I wanted to share some specific information as it relates to the Canada Summer Jobs program:

• The Canada Summer Jobs Program is still progressing as originally planned. Any updates will be posted to the Service Canada website and shared with local MPs.
• Within ESDC, we are currently completing assessments of projects and developing the lists of projects for the MP Review process which will take place shortly.
• We will receive guidance on our role in this process shortly. As it stands approved projects are still on track to begin for May 11, 2020.

We recognize that some potential employers may no longer be in a position to hire given COVID-19; these types of challenges are still being discussed internally so we will share more information as it becomes available.
