Marc has been elected two times (8 years) as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).
He has held numerous portfolios in government including:
Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Aboriginal Relations (Metis Relations)
Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Education (Independent Schools)
Deputy Chair Committee of the Whole (overseeing debate in the Legislature)
President of the non-partisan Assemblee Parlementaire de la Francophonie representing British Columbia provincially and nationally
Select Standing Committee Member for various legislative committees including: Health, Finance, Public Affairs, Freedom of Information and Privacy, Children and Youth
Government Chair of Experience the Fraser, an initiative to develop recreational trails and tourism along both sides of the Fraser River
Marc has often represented the Government at multi-cultural events and gatherings both in and out of his constituency
Hosting Hungarian Ambassador and Hungarian immigrants to Canada at the Legislature

Representing Government at Metis Nation BC convention
